“Everything is awesome!! Everything is awesome when you’re part of a team!!” – Does anybody else have the LEGO movie theme song stuck in their head? If not, you probably will now. Ever since I watched the Oscars on Sunday, I have not been able to get those dratted two lines out of my head. I’ve been humming it to myself in the shower, as I walk through the halls, and even as I tried to get my car to start on Monday (a dead battery is definitely not awesome).

Anyways, I have good news to share – the MOH has officially decided that we’ll be heading to gorgeous San Juan, Puerto Rico for A’s Bachelorette!! I’m looking forward to warm beaches and lots of frosty drinks at the Bacardi distillery. We still have to decide if we’ll want to do anything other than lay on the beach, but right now we’re emailing about how we should do our hair for the wedding. I’ve always been a huge fan of up-do’s due to the half-gallon of hair spray that helps to keep everything perfect coiffed. Walking down the aisle or several dances later, an up-do always looks great in pictures.

Some of my favorite pictures of a bride with her bridesmaids is when each bridesmaid is styled a little differently than the others. It could be that each girl’s dress is in a different shade of the same color or that they’ve each styled their hair in dramatically different ways. You could also let each bridesmaid accessorize their outfit with a statement necklace. Statement necklaces boldly represent a girl’s unique personality, and why have all of your bridesmaid’s looks alike when you love them for all of their differences?
