Always a Bridesmaid, Never Enough Bridesmaid Heels

Have you ever went home for the weekend and everything was so perfect that it made you wonder why you even moved out in the first place? That was my life for the past few days. I traveled home for MFB’s bridal shower, but I also squeezed in lunch with my Dad, dinner with my college room mate and her husband, and a belated birthday dinner celebrating me! I’m sad that I had to return to CT, but I have to get my qualifying exam done before the wedding or else I’ll hate myself.

I’ve left myself little else to do over the next three months, and even my advisor has told me off from doing experiments so I don’t continue to procrastinate. Over the past two weeks I’ve worked hard to have all the details hammered down for MFB’s bachelorette, between ordering favors and confirming reservations. I probably should be more stressed about the wedding, but I have my dress, present, and shoes, so whatever’s left for me to worry about I’ll handle closer to. Literally, I’ve left myself nothing else to do but work on my qualifying. You’re welcome Andrei, I think.

Kate Spade Izzie Sandals

Not too long ago I saw the College Prepsters’s post about her experience at the Tony Awards Gala, and even though I have a beautiful pair of Badgley Mischka bridesmaid heels (bought on sale for $75), I wish I could trade them in for the Kate Spade Izzie heel. I’ve wanted a pair of Badgley Mischka heels for a very long time, but I’m starting to have doubts about how often I’ll be able to wear them after the wedding. You can always trust Kate Spade to design a timeless & classic shoe.

“Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy fabulous shoes and that can lift one’s “soles!” “
